BIO:
Born and raised in CA, Michael had a stereotypical love for music, acting, and performance in general. He cultivated this as an only child, bound and determined to not only be a star, but to also give his parents a better life than the comfortable middle class one they'd worked so hard for. He made appearances in movies and TV shows as a child, shuttling around the state to film bit parts, always getting great reviews. His garage band was a hit everywhere he went, performing in both Japanese and English, marrying the two musical cultures together with some of the best vocals you can find.
His jovial nature won over everyone, including the ladies. A bit of a playboy, Michael never seemed to hold a steady girlfriend for more than a few months, and there were always rumors of extra hangers-on whenever he did have a lady friend. The rumors weren't always true, but he had a reputation that made him laugh, so he let it get as out of hand as possible. In school, he seemed to be the athletic sort, but instead chose to be everyday Joe, starring in theater productions and performing in the choir, as well as doing civic service activities and clubs.
When he was a senior in high school, he just happened to be forced to sit through a military recruitment seminar. Rather than just sitting and watching, he became engrossed. If he could pull it off, wouldn't it be more stable income and a better fit for him taking care of his family? Bingo.
He found his niche in radio ops, famous for not only his clear, concise tone and word choice, but also for his upbeat USO-style performances and interludes. Always the one to break up tense moods, Michael learned quickly that his love of performance went arm-in-arm with the sense of brotherhood he found in the military. His studio experience gave him an edge in setting up major communication networks and coordinating things came to him naturally.
His exceptional talents seemed to make him a grand candidate for the new project. Of all of the men interviewed and considered for his position and partnership with the Supers, he was the only one who never objected or seemed the least bit apprehensive. He just gave the man a roguish grin and a salute and asked when to start.
Now, he's best known for his loud, bright voice, his non-stop desire to entertain, exceptional technical skill, and his good looks. He's quick with a smile, passionate and silly to the core. Without him, SF might just be boring as hell.
Oh, and they get to use him for recruitment videos.
